If the game still isn't finished, I think you should replace "Released" with "In development". Just my opinion though. With that said, I will try this game out, looks very interesting.

I'm not sure if i want to play this game or not, it sounds a lot like the kind of games were characters i like die or worse and there is nothing i can do

In the quest The shadow keeper, after you speak with Kyoko CPPB, you're supposed to leave the plaza and do as you please the rest of the afternoon, what's exactly needs to be done? I can't progress in this quest 🥲

Incredible game my guy really the story is really good love Zinnia and the story of Grisselette and Arzu was amazing and honestly I only spotted 2 weird moment.

The first being that when Zinnia first hangs out with Grisselette at end of the hangout she says I'm gonna imbue my dagger with equinox this time which doesn't make sense yet since we haven't debloqued the quest where we start training it.

Second I believe the Nora can read thought yet he says to Zinnia in her fight that he can't.

As for sandbox you gotta let us do the girls quest when we want to. Most of the time the girls quest are small lore drop here and there, nice moment etc but being force to complete every single girl quest back to back and their quest doesn't have any importance to the main quest AND at the end of the chapter 1 we have time to do those quest but we can't because we already did them.

Solid game once again you really got good ideaa and I'll be sure to keep up with this game

A brutally honest review of this game. (pls don't delete this, it took a lot of time to write this)

(WARNING - MINOR SPOILERS)

Let's just start this by saying I really do like this game. It has great potential and I can't wait to see where it goes next. With that being said, I'm going to tear into this game and all of it's flaws, not to be mean, but with hope that my criticism will be helpful to you.

To start off with what I like about this game, the character models and assets are absolutely beautiful. I love the character designs and can tell a lot of effort was put in, so good job. 

The overall story is also fairly good, managing to capture my interest pretty easily with an interesting premise and a solid amount of mystery. Having 2 main characters was a bit of a shock to me, but I think you did a pretty good job navigating that. The writing is pretty solid as well, with it being a pretty good step up from all the Wattpad level storytelling and dialogue that plagues this site. It can get pretty cheesy at times, but I think that just adds more charm to this game. I love how over-the-top the characters can be at times, and I hope you embrace it to it's fullest (within reason).

The things I don't like as much

As someone who has a pretty good sense of direction, playing this game made me feel like an NVLD patient. The girls are pretty much impossible to find without that one upgrade, and even then you still have to search the area a bit before you find them. Most of your time in this game will be "Click the map icon - Go to where the girl is - Walk a bunch to get to girl - Hang out to get affection points - Repeat 50 times to complete a single quest". I almost suffered a brain aneurism grinding for this game, at least until I found the ultimate solution for poverty (gambling). Truly, the solution for all life's problems is to just save before making a bet and keep loading until you beat the dealer in blackjack.

On the topic of the characters, I don't care for any single one of the girls (except maybe Zinnia). I don't think they're bad characters, it's just that you haven't given me enough reason to care about them. The events for each one of the girls is WAY to short for the amount of effort you need to unlock them, and while it does give me some insight of what they're like, it's just not enough yet to make me actually care what happens to them. The only exception is Zinnia, but she doesn't count for 2 reasons. The first is that she is a main character, so I'm kinda forced to care what happens to her. The second is that she isn't a romanceable character, so both the player and Sora are limited in their relationship with her (unless you also eventually make her a romanceable character as well, but I wouldn't blame you for not having the balls to make that decision. It would make an interesting moral dilemma for both the player and Sora, but it's not everyone's cup of tea, and it's your story to tell.)

On the topic of Sora, I think I do actually like his character the most. That doesn't mean I don't have my gripes with him though. His character design is probably the weirdest in my opinion, the best way I'd describe him would be "drug addicted pirate". His eyebags are just dark circles drawn under his eyes, and it just looks weird. Also, gyat damn I think this guy has the best hips in the game, but that's not really a complaint. Narratively, it doesn't really make sense that we have to go around and "make friends" with all of the characters when Sora has apparently known them all pretty well for awhile now. 

In regards to THAT character death, I can tell that you probably wanted it to be a pretty emotional event for both Zinnia AND the player, but it didn't really hit me all that much. I knew pretty much instantly that she was going to die, the girl was a walking red flag. She was a good person and had such a empathetic backstory, I thought to myself, "Man, it's gonna suck when she dies."  However, because I knew she was going to be a throwaway character, I didn't allow myself to get attached. It also doesn't help that, like I said before, you need more time for people to get properly invested in characters. I do respect your decision to kill off a character though, not many authors have the guts to do that. 

Lastly, I think my biggest gripe with this game is that you have a big problem with "show don't tell". Sora literally goes around with Zinnia and introduces both her and the player to most of the girls by just telling us their entire personality (Charly's introduction is probably the biggest offender), without letting us view their actions and decide what type of person they are for ourselves.

There are some minor things you could fix like spelling mistakes, or not properly using contractions in your grammar, but that doesn't really take away from the experience all too much.

All in all, I'd give the first update of this game a... 3.8/5 stars. Not perfect, but a pretty damn good game considering this is only the first update.

Soo, there's currently one ending I've found which is the protagonist girl losing, is there a way to change that or is it only accessible in future updates? Also is it possible to go past level 20?

Nice game, finally some original storyline. Downloaded this to try in between waiting for updates from other games, but I think I keep an eye on this one too. Quick question: the 'training grounds'; is that location implemented yet or is that coming in an update?
